mr. & mrs. smith

by Amy

remember this red hot couple?  yup…they are married now!  mr & mrs smith…but way better than the movie!  what a blast it was to photograph their fox island wedding and gig harbor party!  honey (sweet at her name and more gorgeous than you can imagine) was such a fun and giggly bride.  and derek?  for a guy who hates to be in front of the camera…he sure was a model groom for me!  loved watching them see each other for the first time, goof around with their friends and try not to get pink lipstick all over the place!

do these two know how to throw a party or what?  you know it is rockin when your feet look like that only half way through the night!  and even the dads came out to dance.  from what i hear, that is a once in a lifetime event.

honey and derek…thank you.  for trusting me with your day, for being goofy with pink lacey umbrellas, for letting us cut in line to eat and for your constant words of affirmation.  thank you for being friends with such awesome people, for coming from such loving families and for smiling on your own so we didn’t  have to use too many inappropriate jokes.  honey, thank you for the work you do to save and care for sweet little babies.  and derek, thank you for serving, sacrificing and protecting our community.  you guys are an amazing couple with the sweetest hearts and i thank you for allowing us in to your most amazing day.  congrats you two!

extra special thanks to my assistant and second shooter, miss Lindsay Hale.  i wouldn’t be anywhere without her amazing eye and creative genius…thank you Linds.  i don’t know what i would do without you.

let’s not also forget the amazing people behind the rest of this soiree…
