nick + lauren
by Amy
there is so much story about this beautiful wedding. so many loving people that came together to help pull this celebration off. so many people that adore this couple and this family. just so much warm and fuzzy love wrapped in to one big, joyous union! every detail, every bit of decoration, every service provided was genuinly done by someone who loves this couple dearly. you know what i think? i think that that is the best kind of wedding to have!
lauren really is one of those girls that doesn’t know how beautiful she is. like those country songs were all written about her. she is humble and soft but has this electric smile she strikes you with. nick? you are one lucky man to have stolen her heart. and you are really funny too! i forgot to tell you that.
all sort of things from all sorts of people and traditions were steeped into the day. games of speed with bff’s, sweetly played piano music for the grand walk down the aisle and even yummy goodies to snack on (made by momma) were there for the bride & groom. they had their people with them, loving them, supporting them and showing nick & lauren they are just as committed to them as they are now to each other.
the reception was awesome! the DJ had a fun game for the couple to play that got everyone laughing (and paying off bets), the food was amazing and the dancing was spectacular! The sweet dances with parents to the crazy dances with friends…loved it all!
thank you nick and lauren. thank you for trusting us with your day, for unearthing your inner model and for letting lindsay and i be there for all your special moments. you two are just the cutest and sweetest people ever! happy one month of wedded bliss you two!!!

note to brides considering a second photographer and to other photographers:
for the first time ever, while shooting a wedding, i got very sick. sick to the point that i had to leave. i have to give mad props to my associate photographer Lindsay Hale for taking over the remainder of the evening and photographing it all seamlessly! another reason why it is so important to have a second shooter that you love and trust!! not only was she there to catch all the angles i could not, but she was rockstar enough to MAKE me go home when she saw my pale face. she stepped up and photographed the last few hours of the reception perfectly! thank you times one million to her!!
Another set of beautiful photos! I don’t personally know this couple but you captured their love for each other and sense of fun that will carry them through life as well as the support of a loving family. Nice job Amy and Lindsay!
Awesome night and you captured it PERFECTLY. Way to go Amy + Lindsay! 🙂
